2000

Mon Feb 25, 2008, 4:56 PM
Whoever catches my 2000 will get a print, by me.
All you must do is note me, with the link to the screenshot (high res and NOT MANIPED) and your mailing address and I will send you a signed 8x10 on either RC or Fiber paper, whatever I happen to do.
You wont get to choose the print, but I will send you a list of options.

In order to be unpublished, my photos may not be in a situation where they can be sold. Also, as a necessary measure to insure that none are stolen prior to being copywrited, I hate to inform you all that all of my DA work is being pulled, as of today.
At the moment I am going through the eCo process and am trying to make that go smoothly Please forgive me, the photos will be back.

Exhibition

Sat Feb 2, 2008, 7:45 AM
The time has come. Months ago I asked if I could have an exhibit at my local coffee shop which regularly displays local artisans work. Luckily they said that I could, so, in the last few months I have been working towards completing the prints and mattes and together with my father, the frames.
Now it is all done, and only needs to be hung up.
More info and photos will be posted later.

Thanks to Judy at Prime Roast Coffee in Keene for making this possible.
To Philip Calabria for teaching me photography, and for helping me with the mattes.
To my dad for the frames. And to my mom for arranging everything and her help in general.

2008

As you may have noticed, i have been absent.
School got distinctly harder between Thanksgiving and Christmas break, and left me with little time for photography and less for DA.

But I announce my return to you all in 2008. The new year has arrived, and it brings me back to the DA community. In the next week i hope to be especially active. I go back to school on tuesday, but my next term will be far easier.

Break has been pretty lazy so far. Im building my darkroom in the basement, but it wont be done by the time I go back to school.

I got a 50mm Nikkor lens for christmas, I like to brag that I now have Nikon's next to sharpest glass and for only 70 dollars. Its handy in low light, or if you need a small DOF. I recommend that every photographer have one. Not so versatile but SHARP and FAST.

Hope everyone else had a joyous Christmas and happy holidays.

Another N55

I bought another camera and it made me happy. It cost ten dollars plus shipping. The total was fifteen. Now I have two. Of course, the new one has a broken battery door, Aluminum foil and type make it as good as new, Now i can shoot color and B&W at the same time, or, shoot B&W for school at the same time I'm doing my own stuff.
The simple language above is not because you are stupid. It is because I am to tired to vary my syntax.

A few thoughts on the Darkroom catagory and why it should have an electronic filter or a gallery director. [link]

CONTEST
Black, White and Something More

Which is being held by: :iconkhfractals:

Of course i love B&W and adding color is something i have touched upon but never really done before in earnest.

::EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT::
I bought a light meter for five dollars. Not only was it cheap, it doesn't even require batteries, Its pretty old school.
